Rules And Regulations
Empowering Women Through Quality Legal Education
Our College works from Monday to Friday, for five hours with a short break of thirty minutes at the end of third hour. Students should uphold the good name of the college and conduct themselves in such a manner that they do not bring any discredit to the college. Students should be courteous and respectful towards all the members of the staff, teaching and non-teaching. Students should be clean and decorous in dress, language and behaviour. While attending college functions and departmental celebrations, students shall conduct themselves in such a way as to bring credit to themselves and to the institution. Students should not indulge in violence of any kind. Students are advised to check the college notice board daily.
All circulars will be put up on the notice board. Students should cultivate the habit of looking at the notice board every day. Ignorance of any notice thus displayed will not be accepted as an excuse for failing to comply with the directions contained in it. Bicycles and other vehicles must be parked safely and properly in the allotted places only. Violation of any one of the above rules shall be punishable. In the larger interests of the college and if the circumstances warrant, the Principal, in consultation with the College Committee, may take any disciplinary action including expulsion, against any erring student without calling for an explanation.
DISCIPLINARY ACTION
Class Room Discipline
Perfect silence should be maintained in the college during class hours. All students have to be in class room at least five minutes before the commencement of the first hour. Students should not enter or leave a class while the class is in session. Without prior sanction from the Class in-Charge or HOD or the Principal/Vice Principal, no student will be allowed to go out of the campus. Attendance shall be marked at the beginning of every hour. Coming late to the college and reporting late to the class is a serious breach of discipline. Students will not be permitted to leave the class under any pretext such as paying fees or library transaction. Time fixed for such purpose during office hours must be adhered to strictly. Students absenting themselves in any hour will be marked half a day leave.
Dress Code
In order to ensure an orderly atmosphere in the college, a student is directed to observe the prescribed Dress Code. Women students are to dress modestly and have well groomed hair. They are not permitted to wear T. Shirts, Jeans (Jeans of any sort) etc., Women students are advised not to wear costly jewellery
Semester Fees Payment Schedule
Students are requested to pay the Semester Fees within ten days from the commencement of the session. Since it is a Parents- Funded Educational Institution, timely payment of semester fees would help us to run the college efficiently. We request you to make payment of semester fees without fine regular habit.
Attendance
Learning process cannot be ensured if attendance is not taken care of. We insist on attendance in the interests of students as learners. In case students deliberately stay away from classes for flimsy reasons, our disciplinary system will come into operation. If a student is absent for more than 3 days continuously, he/she can be admitted only on production of medical certificate. If this practice of absenting himself herself from the class happens regularly, the student concerned may be expelled from the college and he/she can re-admitted only by following all the routine procedure of admission once again.
